Sonnax large flanged impeller hub FD-90-70G has a piloting diameter with substantial backup surface to provide accurate alignments and superior weld characteristics. The design of the flange also provides a substantial thrust bearing mating surface. Use of this hub eliminates the need for the OE wear plate as a spacer, which has a history of failure due to warping.
